The Office of the Registrar publishes the schedule of classes each semester. You can view the schedule on their site or search for classes using iGPS, where you can also view more details, such as the course description. You can also speak with your director of graduate studies to make course decisions.

Auditing policy
The department does not allow auditing of 100 or 200-level language courses, nor of the F491-492 graduate language proficiency sequence. Exceptions may be made for full-time Indiana University faculty and staff.
Individual Readings courses
You must gain permission to register in Individual Readings courses. Please download and complete the Permission for Individual Readings Form for permission to register for the following:
- F810 French and Francophone Civilization Individual Readings course
- F815 French Literature and Linguistics Individual Readings course
- M815 Italian Individual Readings course
