Alumnus Peter Vint (B.A., 1969) made a bike and boat tour of Provence in 2019, documenting his travels with photographs, a few of which we share here. Along the way he reflected on the great painters of the 19th century who worked in Provence, seeing the colors and settings made famous by the likes of Antoine Jean Gros, Paul Cézanne, and Vincent Van Gogh. He writes:
