Department of French and Italian

This course is taught in various formats with various topics each semester. Each topic provides an introduction to literature and/or other cultural outputs in French (film, television, and other media), giving you the skills to analyze and interpret these productions.

Recent topics include: Travelers and Immigrants in French Literature and Film, L’amour : du rêve à la réalité, Dangerous Women in French Literature and Adaptation, Histoires étranges et cruelles, French Theater Workshop, and L'Afrique de l'Ouest francophone.
