Prerequisite: FRIT-F 250 or FRIT-F 265 or appropriate placement test score.
Intensive study of French grammar including in-depth review and exploration of advanced topics such as the passive, the causative, and indirect discourse. This course builds upon foundational knowledge of French grammar, allowing intermediate students to develop a sophisticated command of advanced structures. We will use a variety of texts and media to practice using these structures in all four basic language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing). By the end of the semester, students will be more confident using complex grammar structures in all of those skills.
