This course for in-service teachers focuses on the sources of grammatical errors in nonnative French. It discusses the status of second language knowledge in the mind/brain, processes of development, and the effects of instruction. In response to their developing knowledge, students are invited to reflect on and draw conclusions about their language teaching and correction practice.
