About Pantalea Mazzitello

Pantalea has a Ph.D. in Romance Philology (University of Parma, 2016) and an M.A. in Italian Studies (Indiana University, 2018). She is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Italian Studies with a focus on Renaissance Studies and a Minor in Medieval Studies. Her research interests include blasphemy in Renaissance Italian Literature, parody and parody of the sacred during the Middle Ages, chronicles of Crusades and texts d’Outremer, Italian vulgarization from French.
