Nicolò has a B.A. in Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures (English and French, University of Padova, 2016) and an M.A. in Modern Languages for International Communication and Cooperation (English and French, University of Padova, 2019). Thanks to the European exchange program Erasmus+ for Studies, he also had the opportunity of spending one semester at Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Budapest, Hungary (2015-2016) and a full academic year at the University of Leeds, Leeds, United Kingdom (2017-2018). He has recently worked as a translation reviewer for the first Italian publication of the largely forgotten autobiographical novel Bodyguard Unseen: A True Autobiography (1931) by Italian American author Vincenzo D’Aquila. His research interests include Italian American literature, especially contemporary Italian American women writers, Italian and Italian American cinema, and translation studies.
