Nicolò has a B.A. in Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures (English and French, University of Padova, 2016), an M.A. in Modern Languages for International Communication and Cooperation (English and French, University of Padova, 2019), and an M.A. in Italian Studies (Indiana University, 2020). Thanks to the European exchange program Erasmus+ for Studies, he also had the opportunity of spending one semester at Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Budapest, Hungary (2015-2016) and a full academic year at the University of Leeds, Leeds, United Kingdom (2017-2018). His dissertation project focuses on some important female figures in the Italian music and television industry (Raffaella Carrà, Nada Malanima, and Gianna Nannini) who broke and, in some cases, subverted patriarchal paradigms of femininity and womanhood to establish new voices and models for their generations.
