Edouard Roche is a Ph.D. student in French and Francophone Studies. He obtained his 'licence" in philosophy at the University of Rouen-Normandie in France (May 2021), as well as a M.A. in English studies (May 2023). Edouard taught French at the Alliance Francaise de Rouen and was a lecturer of French and Francophone studies at California State University Long Beach. He has interests in the history of the Second World War, film history, text-to-screen adaptations, French art and cultural history in the 19^th and 20^th centuries, and 19^th century romantic literature.
