Emma has a B.A. with Honors in English and Italian (College of the Holy Cross, 2015) and an M.A. in Italian Studies (Indiana University, 2017). Research interests include the Renaissance reception of Medieval Italian literature, transmediality, and 15th century art. She also studies the works of Alessandro Manzoni, Italian Baroque Theater, the female figure in Italian art, and theater and literature.
