Micah obtained his B.A. in Philosophy and French as a Modern Language from Ball State University (2010). His research interests are primarily in 19th and 20th century Continental Philosophy, most notably Albert Camus and Jean Paul Sartre. He enjoys exploring the political and philosophical contours of Camus’ humanism, while also investigating the contradictions and post-colonial ramifications contained therein.
He spent the years of 2018-2022 teaching at the Ba Yi International School in Beijing, China. He looks forward to bringing his experience and interests to the French and Francophone Studies program at IU.
