Pantalea has a Ph.D. in Romance Philology (University of Parma, 2016) and an M.A. in Italian Studies (Indiana University, 2018). She is currently a PhD Student in Italian Studies with a focus on Renaissance Studies and a minor in Medieval Studies. Her research interests include parody and holy parody in the Middle Ages, witchcraft historiography, chronicles of Crusades and texts d'Outremer, Italian vulgarization from French, and Comedy and Astrology (not necessarily together) during the Renaissance. When she is not doing research or teaching, she secretly plans new travels by the seaside.
