Giorgio earned their M.A. in Italian Studies in 2019. They also have a B.A. and an M.A. in Classics from the Catholic University of Milan. Their main research interest is animality in the history of literature, and they are writing their dissertation on comic animals in the Italian Renaissance. They collaborated with the activist group Oltre la Specie, with the journal Liberazioni - Rivista di critica antispecista, and with the journal Gender/Sexuality/Italy.
