Jade’s research interests focus on representations of labyrinthine space in seventeenth century French rewritings of myths, fables, and fairy tales, especially their intersection with Louis XIV's absolutist politics. When she is not studying, teaching, or doing research, she loves playing music, reading young adult fantasy novels, and watching Chinese period dramas.
