Jane received her Masters in French Linguistics from the University of Georgia in 2019 after completing her Bachelor's degrees in French and Linguistics there in 2017. Her time at UGA provided opportunities to teach, travel, and pursue a variety of her research interests including historical linguistics, syntax, phonology, and language variation & change. Her current research pursuits include prosody in French and L2 English, French sociolinguistics, and second language acquisition. In addition to research, she enjoys teaching and leading study abroad in the summers.
