Scott has a B.A. in French and Chemistry (University of Nebraska - Lincoln, 2013) and an M.A. in French linguistics (Indiana University, 2017). He is currently a Ph.D. student in French Linguistics with a minor in linguistics. His interests include historical linguistics, syntax, phonology, as well as the minority language Picard. His dissertation will most likely focus on post-verbal subjects in Middle and Modern French.
