Jennifer has a B.A. in Modern Language and Culture with minors in Linguistics and International Affairs (Kennesaw State University, 2019) and an M.A. in French Linguistics (Indiana University, 2022). She also studied Linguistics and the Picard language at the University of Picardy Jules Verne in 2019. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in French Linguistics with a minor in Global Studies. Her research focuses on issues in language policy and planning and language ideologies, especially in relation to regional language speech communities in France. Her dissertation examines agents of language standardization in the revitalization of Picard.
