Miriam has a B.A. in Languages, Foreign Literatures and Techniques of Translating and Interpreting (University of Messina, 2015), and an M.A. in Modern Languages: Literatures and Translation Sciences (University of Messina, 2018). Thanks to the Erasmus program, she also studied at the University of Barcelona, Spain (2013). She has had some experience in school teaching in Italy.
Her research interests include: studies in second language acquisition, Southern Italian dialects, women in Renaissance literature between Italy and England and the reception of Dante in nineteenth-century England.
