Miriam has a B.A. in Languages, Foreign Literatures and Techniques of Translating and Interpreting (University of Messina, 2015), an M.A. in Modern Languages: Literatures and Translation Sciences (University of Messina, 2018), and an M.A. in Italian Studies (Indiana University, 2022). Thanks to the Erasmus program, she also studied at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain (2013). She has had some experience in school teaching in Italy.
Her research interests include: Medieval and Renaissance literature, women/gender in Medieval and Renaissance Italian and English literature, and the reception of Dante in nineteenth-century England.
