We offer undergraduate degrees in French and Italian, minors in both languages, and a certificate in Global French. Graduate students can pursue an M.A. or Ph.D. in French/Francophone Studies, French Linguistics, or Italian Studies. We also offer an M.A. program for French Instruction. Our French and Italian topics range from medieval manuscripts to contemporary novels to media studies, food and fashion to the business world, and dialectology to comics and games.
Overseas study can be a life-changing experience, offering opportunities to improve your language proficiency, immerse yourself in a new culture, and acquire global skills. We sponsor study abroad programs in France, Italy, and Senegal, and provide funding opportunities to help you get there.
