Madison holds bachelor’s degrees in French and English (Butler University, 2015) and a master’s in Library and Information Science (Indiana University Bloomington, 2018). She worked as an assistante de langue vivante at l’École Jean Piaget in Chevreuse, France, as part of the competitive Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF). She served three years as the Metadata Librarian for Oklahoma State University Libraries before deciding to return to language studies. Her research interests include sociolinguistics, semantics, language contact, and history of the language.
